Call to Artists!

The Frank Creech Art Gallery invites all Johnston County residents to participate in a non-juried show themed around still life studies and feature a floral/organic theme that will parallel the North Carolina Museum of Art’s, VISUAL FEAST coming this fall. The show will be open to all mediums both 2D and 3D.

All work must be hand-delivered to the Frank Creech Art Gallery September 3 – 6 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
No exceptions.

Entry form deadline: September 3, 2012
Art delivery: September 3-6 (9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
Exhibition dates: September 10-27
Work pick-up: October 1-4 (9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)

The Frank Creech Art Gallery will retain a 35% commission on all sold works. If a work is not for sale please indicate with NFS value. To make a donation to the Frank Creech Art Gallery visit, the Johnston Community College Foundation or call Foundation Executive Director, Twyla Casey Wells at (919) 209-2119.

All Johnston County residents of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to participate. All works must be original and ‘hang-ready’. No alligator clips will be allowed to hang work. No copies, mechanical reproductions, molds or kit work will be accepted.

All entries will be handled with the best care possible, but The Frank Creech Art Gallery is not responsible for loss or damage of any cause. There will be a Gallery Contract for each participant.

Visual Feast: Masterpieces of Still Life from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston features European and American paintings and decorative arts from the Renaissance to the present.
