Painting student success in Dunn, NC

Adelaide page a former JCC painting student has opened The White Heron Art Gallery. In Dunn, North Carolina this is one space filled with good creative mojo, and a warm friendly feeling for artist and enthusiast. Along with the traditional forms of art work: painting, ceramics, jewelry making, and sculpture; flowers and gifts are provided by Marsha. She is one of the best flower arrangers around. Marsha is known for vibrant colors in her flower arranging designs.
April 30th – May 2 was the Grand Opening for The White Heron. The weekend was filled with Art and its conversations. People visited from all around North Carolina. The grand opening featured 30 different artists from here to California. I would say the biggest buzz had to be the “I can do better than that, ICDBTT” patron juried competition. The three individuals participating in the competition had to be married to an artist with work that was hanging in the gallery and they also had to have never painted before this competition.
If your itching for a place to visit or participate in an art lesson come down Tuesday–Friday 10–6 and Saturday 10–5.
You are officially invited.
